Be patient!.....

Patience is a virtue, but not one of mine. With trend-following it is important to stay out of a market until a signal is generated, and only enter when there is a signal. I find this very difficult to do and have been gagging to get invested into a couple of the asset classes that I follow. But I have not had a signal yet..... I am impatient!  You will have to look at the video to find out which asset classes I am talking about!

Trend trading is as much, if not more, about being out of the market at the right time. The aim is to be in cash when that asset class is falling in price. The whole point of it is to gain from the rise in price of an asset class, but avoid the catastrophic price crashes that every asset class experiences periodically.

I have to say to myself: 'Be patient, Andy'!
