The guru
It's tricky, making a trade. 'Am I making the right decision?' 'Will the signal reverse on me?'
The problem is, I think, that I want to take the credit for being clever, when it works. Therefore, by implication, if a trade does not work, then I must accept the blame.
This type of thinking is egotistical and unhelpful. I must follow my rules, and give credit or blame to the system, and not take it myself.
Currently my recent buy into the commodities fund that I follow looks like being a successful trade, it's risen further in the past couple of weeks, which is, I hope, a good sign. I nearly said that it was 'a wise move', implying that I had some sort of insight or guru-like wisdom...
I don't.
