Buying warehouses in the UK and Europe

My trade this week is to go long (buying) Segro, an owner and operator of light warehousing in the Thames Valley as well as in continental Europe. They may benefit from quantitative easing that is occurring on the continent. That is not why I am buying them, of course, it is because their share price is trending upwards.

This week it made a new high, which is why I picked it up. Indeed it has been making a succession of new highs, and higher lows since 2012. Its profile is of a steady climber, with no great changes of direction that might be confusing. My only concern is that the trend has been in place for some time, and it will, of course, come to an end at some point. I didn't manage to do a blog post last week - just run out of time - sorry! I did, of course, make a trade, buying BT Group PLC. It too had made a higher high, although it has dropped back a little this week.

Hope you have a great week, and I look forward to catching up with you next weekend!
